Request a Custom Wiring Diagram
A product manual explains a component. A wiring diagram explains how your components belong together — which charging sources feed the bank, where protection sits, how power is distributed, and what the monitoring is watching.
A custom diagram is available as a paid add-on with any kit or custom design. Send us what you have and what you are adding, and we will confirm scope and pricing before any work starts.
When a diagram is worth it
Replacing one known component in a documented system usually is not the moment. Designing or changing the system itself is:
- You are building a new RV, van, marine, cabin or off-grid system.
- You are moving from AGM or lead-acid to lithium, or adding capacity.
- You are adding or changing an inverter/charger.
- You are integrating alternator or DC-DC charging, or combining several charging sources.
- You are reworking distribution, fusing or protection.
- You are trying to document or troubleshoot a system nobody has a drawing of.
What to have ready
Understanding what is already in place is as important as knowing what you want to add. You do not need all of it to start — send what you have.
- Application: RV, van, marine, cabin, backup, or other
- System voltage
- Battery type and capacity
- Existing and planned charging sources
- Solar equipment
- Alternator or DC-DC charging equipment
- Inverter / charger
- Major DC and AC loads
- Monitoring and control equipment
- Existing distribution and protection
- Products already installed
- Products being added
- Photos or documentation of the current system where applicable

Fill in what you know — none of the detail fields are required, and photos of the existing install are often worth more than the descriptions. A power professional will come back to you with scope, what else we need, and pricing.
Prefer to talk it through first? A system review can come before the diagram — often it is the better order.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. An installation manual explains how to connect and configure a particular product. A wiring diagram shows how products relate to each other within a specific power system.
Yes, when clear information, component details and current system photos are available. Understanding what is already installed is an important part of documenting the next step.
Not always. If the replacement is truly like-for-like and the surrounding charging, protection and monitoring setup remains appropriate, product documentation may be enough. Review the wider system whenever battery chemistry or capacity changes.
A custom wiring diagram is a paid add-on to any kit or custom design. Pricing depends on the complexity of the system, so it is confirmed with you before any work starts.
Not sure what you need yet?
The Power Guide works from what you run, how long you stay out, and how you recharge — then points at a system. The diagram comes after that.
