Protection & Wiring
Not in the kit: main battery fuse (250A Class-T), fuse holders, busbars, battery and power cables, solar panels, battery charger (sized to your installation). Mount the main fuse within 7 inches of the battery positive. Your installer confirms the final size.
Add-ons and install parts
Optional – Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/20, if you add solar panels later.
Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 12/30 charger – lithium-ready charger for shore power or a generator, three outputs.
Victron mains cord NEMA 5-15P – the Phoenix charger ships without a power cord; this is the US plug for it.
Victron Orion XS 12/12-50A DC-DC charger – charges the batteries safely from your engine’s alternator while the engine runs.
Victron MEGA fuse holder – for the smaller circuits (charger and loads); MEGA fuses from 40A to 400A are in the shop.
MEGA fuses (packs of 5) – for the smaller circuits, one per circuit, sized from your wiring diagram.
Victron 250A busbar, 4 connections – a tidy connection point for the battery, charger and load cables.
Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 12/50 charger – a bigger lithium-ready shore-power charger for faster charging of the 400Ah bank.
Victron MultiPlus 12/2000 inverter / charger – runs 120V appliances up to about 1,600W and charges the batteries from shore power – in place of a separate charger.
Battery cables are not sold in the shop – your wiring diagram gives the sizes.

Manufacturer warranties
Every part carries its manufacturer’s factory warranty. Call us before you send anything back.
Victron Energy — 5-year standard warranty on power products. Batteries carry 2 years (lead-acid) or 3 years (lithium).
Support from APS
All parts in this kit are matched and checked to work together, and installation tech support is included.
Call APS first for any technical issue — we find the faulty part and handle the claim the fastest way.

Far from home? Victron’s worldwide dealers can help with repairs; warranty claims still go through us.
There is no separate kit warranty – each part keeps its own manufacturer’s warranty.
