DC-to-DC converters and chargers, mostly the Victron Orion range. These let one battery charge another safely — typically the engine’s alternator charging a lithium house bank — while protecting the alternator from a lithium bank’s appetite for current. They also step 24V or 48V down to 12V for equipment that needs it.
